Angling Times (UK) - - TIPS & TACTICS -

I’ve always been a big fan of the Kevin Leach Distance feeders.

For fishing at ranges between 40m and 60m they really do take some beating and they cover me for a lot of my Irish fishing, plus shorter casts at places like Ferry Meadows.

For those that aren’t familiar with these feeders they are weight-forward in design. In other words, all the lead is around the base of the feeder, which means they cast very straight and will cut through the strongest crosswind.

I carry them in two sizes – medium and large – at weights of 30g and 40g.
