TIP 4 –

Angling Times (UK) - - TIPS & TACTICS -

WHERE lots of fish are present in commercials, you can get away with feeding plenty of bait. I’m talking three or four pints of casters or maggots – either one or the other, or both combined! Most of this goes in by catapult and a bit in the groundbait. If you’ve got lots of little fish up in the water, there’s a good chance that not much of your loosefeed will even reach the bottom so I’ll really force the peg with plenty of bait in a catapult, usually half or even three-quarters of a pouch.

Don’t be afraid to force the issue if lots of small fish are present.

Don’t be shy with the loosefeed when fishing commercials.
