Tactical versatility is central to Cameron’s success
LARFORD LAKES CLASSIC QUALIFIER Match Lake (29 pegs)
CHRIS Cameron rotated two lines effectively to come out on top in this event with 124-1-0.
Having drawn peg 28 in front of the island, the Middy and Old Ghost-backed angler had plenty of options.
He got off to a flying start, with 18 big F1s and carp coming on the long pole and pellet line in the early stages of the match.
A switch to the Method feeder found another nine fish before Chris returned to the pole to take a further five in the dying stages.
Matt Skidmore wasn’t too far behind on 104-0-0.
1 C Cameron, Middy Old Ghost, 124-1-0; 2 M Skidmore, Larford, 104-0-0; 3 N Colcombe, Larford, 86-15-0.
Chris Cameron, a winner at Larford Lakes.
