Bang in-form fishery still producing triple-figure bags of mixed species to pleasure and match anglers alike
INTER is almost upon us, meaning falling temperatures, fewer daylight hours and lower match weights. But one complex where the action is showing no sign of slowing down is County Durham’s Angel of the North Fishery.
In September the three-lake venue was producing 400lb mixed nets to pleasure anglers and 200lb match nets, but when the frosts of October arrived the weights stayed strong, with anglers still catching 100lb in matches.
