MAKE EVERY CAST COUNT
THERE is nothing worse than repetitive casting in the cold! It spooks fish and, if you keep it up, it will push them out of your swim.
That means it’s vital that when casting the feeder lands just where you want it every time.
When recasting, make sure that you put plenty of thought into where that cast is going. Then cast with purpose so that the feeder gets there with ease!
The same principle applies at the start of a match – casting a bomb around scares fish. I love it when those around me cast out at the start to clip up. All they are doing is driving fish into my quiet swim!
