Clearing water has made the waggler a potent weapon on the lakes and first and second both used it on Sunday. Mark Hassell led the way with 74-11-0 of carp to 10lb plus F1s on pellet fished under the float from peg 69 on the Pine Pool. Lee Clancy, on Ash Lake peg 45, used waggler and pellet for second with 42-15-0 of carp to 8lb.
