Angling Times (UK) - - TIPS & TACTICS -

Fish well overdepth when the temperature is low, using a thicktipped waggler so the float isn’t constantly being pulled under. In depths down to 6ft I use a Speci Waggler. In deeper water I use a Truncheon Waggler with all the buoyancy in the tip. Use a No6 or No4 shot down the line for every 2ft of depth, and the rest of the float’s capacity to lock the float on to the line.
