KIDDERMINSTER DAA FUR & FEATHER (SAT)
River Severn, Bewdley (45 pegs)
Unfortunately, the river didn’t hit the heights of previous week as cold water came into the Bewdley section. Wolves man Alan Round found his 14-2-0 enough to win the match. Alan drew peg 46 and fished bolo rod and maggot to net roach and dace. Jez Williams sat it out for barbel, snaring one on feeder and meat for 8-10-0.
Result: 1 A Round, Wolves, 14-2-0; 2 J Williams, Kidderminster DAA, 8-10-0; 3 G Brierley, Willow Creek, 8-9-0; 4 P Turner, Wolves, 7-14-0; 5 P Whitehouse, Tipton, 7-11-0; 6 M Knight, Tipton, 5-12-0.
