ONE of our regular shipmates in Key West is Daiwa deputy MD Robin Morley. We often speak about tackle and the days when we were colleagues. He gave me some news that I have to share with you if you are a river match angler – the greatest river float reel of all time is running out. The 1657DM, which has been in the Daiwa range for over 30 years, is coming to the end of the line.
