Home-grown rudd for Dom

THIS pretty 2lb 3oz rudd fell to Angling Times columnist Dom Garnett when he fly-fished the Bridgewater and Taunton Canal with a size 14 Black and Peacock on a 10ft, 4-weight outfit and a 4lb leader.

“Ironically, I’d just been to Norfolk to try and catch a big rudd. Instead I came home to the West Country and stumbled across this fish,” he said.
