Your best catches
Scott Hamilton’s autumn perch campaign got off to a flyer with two personal bests topped by this 3lb 8oz specimen. Scott baited a spot on the River Lea with chopped lobworms before casting out a leger rig with a lobworm hookbait. Almost immediately he had a three-pounder, soon followed by the even bigger predator.
TOP TIP: “When feeding chopped worm on a river, use a bait dropper so that your bait doesn’t get washed downstream from where you’re fishing.”
