Angling Times (UK) - - WHERE TO FISH -

Colmic-backed Chris Telling BAIT: “I place worms, casters, corn and pellets into a bait tub and then chop them all up finely to make a mush which I feed as small balls. On the hook I alternate betwen worms, casters and maggots.” TACTICS: “Feeding small balls regularly on the short line will keep the bites coming. For the far-bank line feed pellets and corn to catch carp.” TACKLE: “I don’t fish too light, so I can land any carp I hook. A 2.3mm Colmic hollow elastic, which is roughly the equivalent of a grade 12-14, is ideal. I fish this along with 0.168mm Colmic Spider mainline to a 0.145mm Stream hooklength and a size 16 WN501 hook.”
