Thanks for blowing the gaff on our top perch fishing water!

THANKS a lot Angling Times for lifting the lid on my favourite perch water – White Springs (October 24 issue)!

Me and my mates fish there a lot and we thought we had the brilliant perch fishing to ourselves. Clearly not, and after your article I’m sure there will be more and more people coming to fish it.

I don’t mind really. Angling is a sport that should be open for all to enjoy, and I certainly wouldn’t argue with the claim that White Springs could produce the next perch record. I just hope it’s me that catches it! James Whitney, Bridgend
