Fishing breaks by the seaside

Sycamore Lakes is an ideal family holiday in Skegness

Angling Times (UK) - - NORTH -

WHY not combine a seaside trip to Skegness in 2018 with a luxury angling holiday? With four fishing lakes and a choice of cabins, cottages, apartments or touring and camping, Sycamore Lakes Park is a great destination.

The day-ticket lakes are heavily stocked and full of features. Three, including the Specimen Lake, contain carp to over 25lb while tench, rudd, roach and perch provide plenty of action.

The Roadside Lake is great for pole anglers, with lots of features including beds of lily pads.

Sycamore’s fully equipped cottages hold 2 to 6 people while their apartments hold 2 to 8. Luxury Scandinavian log cabins right by the water hold 2 to 5. These have their own fishing tackle storage rooms and spacious open plan lounges. On a budget? Why not camp or bring a caravan to Sycamore?

There’s an on-site restaurant and a fully stocked tackle shop. Being just three miles from the tourist haven of Skegness, there is loads for you and the family to do when you aren’t fishing.

Sycamore’s luxury apartments are right by the waterside.
