Devon’s Blagdon Farm is close to many other attractions

Angling Times (UK) - - SOUTH -

IF YOU fancy an angling holiday to Devon in 2018 than Blagdon Farm should be top of your list of destinations. Set in rich countryside, Blagdon is only a few miles from the wide sandy North Cornwall beaches at Bude and Widemouth Bay, the stunning Cornish resorts of Boscastle and Padstow (home to Rick Stein’s famous seafood restaurant), and Dartmoor and Exmoor.

As far as the fishing goes you wont be disappointed. The scenic 1.5-acre lake is stuffed with carp, tench and silver fish and is only available to those staying on the site. A variety of methods will catch fish in this pool, including feeder, pole and even specimen carp tactics.

The accommodation is super-pleasing, with six two-bedroom lodges and two one-bedroom lodges, all situated by the lake, and there is also a caravan site.

When you aren’t fishing or sight-seeing nearby, the complex also has an indoor swimming pool, a bar and a games room to keep your family occupied.

Right in the heart of the Devon countryside is the beautiful, quiet and fish-filled Blagdon Farm.
