PEBMARSH LAKE, PEBMARSH, ESSEX

Situated in the small village of Pebmarsh in Essex, this picturesque mixed fishery is simply full of fish. Tactics here are very simple – a waggler in the margins with maggots over groundbait will produce roach, rudd, perch and tench, with the odd double-figure carp. Feeder fishing with groundbait and corn, caster, pellet or chopped worm hookbaits will produce skimmers, bream and carp. For the carp present PVA bags towards features with bright yellow pop-ups.
