BURT BAITS SILVERFISH FESTIVAL (TUES-FRI)

After the deep snow of the week before, the anglers who made it to the complex were faced with partially frozen lakes and going into the final day there were several who could have claimed the title. As it turned out, Peter Kay of Drennan Bordon Angling turned in a section win to go with another win and two third in section scores to give him 28 points and victory. Peter was on Pines Lake peg 5 on the final day and fished maggot for 12-6-0 of roach and skimmers. Day one winner: T Golding, BTAC, 22-6-0. Day two winner: M Powell, The Wednesday Club, 23-8-0. Day three winner: M Powell, The Wednesday Club, 28-3-0. Day four winner: B Wallin, Twickenham & Feltham PS, 18-11-0.
