“Even though I’m fishing a commercial, I’ll still use light tackle because carp are not what I’m after. On both lines I use 0.12mm Daiwa TDR Rig Line for main and a 6ins hooklink of 0.08mm Rig Line to a size 18 Guru F1 Pellet hook,” Cameron revealed.

“At times, I may increase the length of this hooklink to 8ins or 10ins for a slower fall of the bait, but moving the shot nearest the hook up the line. Elastics are a solid No6 for the long pole and a No5 for the short line.”
