ROB Saunders caught this fine 40lb 6oz common just two days after Farriers Lake had thawed.

In a quick overnighter on the Gloucestershire venue he introduced 10mm and 18mm Mainline Cell boilies over firm gravel at 70 yards range, before presenting a wafter from the same company on a Ronnie rig over the top. Prior to casting out he attached a small PVA stick of boilie crumb to each rod.
