AT AROUND 1.30am on Sun­day Novem­ber 5 in Manse Brae, Lochgilp­head, a car was seen by po­lice be­ing driven with­out lights. The car was then driven at speed in a dan­ger­ous man­ner but came to a halt in White­gates

Road, Lochgilp­head. A 24-year-old woman who was driv­ing was ar­rested for driv­ing un­der the in­flu­ence of al­co­hol and dan­ger­ous driv­ing. She was charged and a re­port will be sub­mit­ted to the fis­cal.

IN MANSE Brae, Lochgilp­head, at around 5.55pm on Satur­day Novem­ber 4, a boy aged 13 was found in possession of a quan­tity of fire­works. The fire­works were seized.

ON SATUR­DAY Novem­ber 4 at around 6.35pm, a man aged 20 was seen to have set off a fire­work in the grounds of the old pri­mary school in Lochgilp­head. The man was charged and a re­port will be sub­mit­ted to the procu­ra­tor fis­cal.

TWO oc­cu­pants of a car which crashed on the A83 at around 7pm on Satur­day Novem­ber 4 suf­fered mi­nor in­juries. The driver, a 31-year-old man, was is­sued with a £100 fixed penalty.

IN CAMP­BELL Street, Lochgilp­head, at 4am on Sun­day Novem­ber 5, a car was stopped for a rou­tine check. The 21-year-old driv­ing was ar­rested for be­ing un­der the in­flu­ence of al­co­hol. He was later charged.
