Business as usual

Argyllshire Advertiser - - FEATURE -

It is business as usual for shops and premises in Campbeltown Town centre as the Conservation Area Regeneration Scheme (CARS) hits the height of its construction activity, with scaffolding around some of the main tenements in Main Street and Longrow South.

This new phase of CARS runs from 2015-2020 and builds on previous work making Campbeltown an even more attractive place to live, work, visit and invest.

Major high level repairs including roofing and leadwork are almost complete at McLean Place West (10-14 Main Street) and work is progressing well at 22-30 Main Street/2-8 Longrow South.

The third project sees the failing amenity deck at 1-21 Longrow South being replaced.

In addition to this repair projects at 3 Longrow South and 44 Main Street are in development with projected site starts in October 2018.
