Kilmory fire and vandalism
Kilmory woods have been vandalised, prompting calls for cameras to be installed.
Photographs appeared on social media at the weekend showing fences pulled down, benches damaged, panels and signs torn down and shed windows shattered.
The post on Lochgilphead Community Noticeboard was met with many expressions of sadness and anger, with many expressing a need for security in the area. AnnJane Maconochie said: ‘It’s so sad, when it’s such a beautiful place for all to enjoy.’

The fire was first spotted around 10pm.
The fire at around 11pm.
The fire was still burning at midnight.
