Mary’s Meals makes porridge and it’s just right

Argyllshire Advertiser - - LEISURE -

A more obscure holiday, World Porridge Day, was celebrated on Wednesday October 10 by the team over at Mary’s Meals.

As part of the global celebration, Goldilocks all over the world were asked to create a smiley face in their porridge and share the masterpiece online with #PorridgeSmiles, with a small donation to Mary’s Meals.

But Marina and the girls took it one step further, hosting a porridge party in their shop on Argyll Street, Lochgilphead.

The girls got together for a meal once given by your granny, complete with smiles. They also served oat truffles and oat biscuits.

Just £2 will provide a child in Africa with meals in school for a month. If you’re interested in donating, text ‘OATS18 £2’ to 70070.
