AFTER looking forward to seeing the men’s 4x400m squad finally get their medals (and others in due course) I was incensed the that the BBC’s “three wise ladies” could not shut up for five minutes so that we could listen to the stadium announcer in London.
Why did they feel the need to talk over it? Good broadcasting is when to know to shut up.
It’s like a DJ talking over the wordless intro of a record!
Also, why didn’t the organisers make the presentation on the infield?
