UK Athletics (UKA) is the national governing body for the sport of Athletics in the UK. We work with a wide range of stakeholders in the sport, to devise strategies and drive plans to identify and nurture talent through to the highest levels of achievement as well as to ensure athletics remains the nation’s favourite Olympic and Paralympic sport.

Over the years UKA has matured to generate a clear vision for the sport – to drive up performance and raise standards in every event, every region and every age group. This vision is fuelled by a dedicated team of full time staff and part time volunteers who all share the same passion and ambition for athletics.

In 2017, London hosted the IAAF and World Para Athletics Championships to international acclaim, demonstrating once again that athletics is as popular as ever.
