SUPERMILERS gath­ered by Lake Como in Italy last week to cel­e­brate John Walker’s 40th wed­ding an­niver­sary.

The 66-year-old New Zealan­der won the 1976 Olympic 1500m ti­tle and was the first man to break 3:50 for the mile – and in­cred­i­bly clocked 135 sub-4min miles dur­ing his long ca­reer.
