I SYMPATHISE with Caster Semenya when she says
“it is not fair, I just want to run naturally, the way I was born”. However, as we all know she does have a significant advantage by having testosterone levels much higher than is normal for a woman.
I suspect she would get more satisfaction from her achievements if she competed “on a level playing field” with all her competitors.
My question is, should the IAAF allow those female competitors who chose to, to legally increase their testosterone levels to the same as those of Caster Semenya?
I wonder if we would see the same results?
