New Honda hybrid is coming next year
HONDA will launch a new two-motor hybrid model in Europe next year as part of its new ‘Electric Vision’. By 2025, the company is aiming to have two-thirds of its European models powered by an electrified drive system.
Speaking at the Geneva Motor Show, Honda Motor Europe’s president and COO, Katsushi Inoue, said: “We will leverage Honda’s global R&D resources to accelerate the introduction of a full portfolio of advanced, electrified powertrains for the European customer.”
As part of the plan, Honda will launch hybrid, plug-in, fully electric and hydrogen vehicles in Europe.
