Geneva debut for Alpina supersaloon
ALPINA beat the next BMW M5 to the punch by revealing its new B5 at Geneva. It gets a tuned version of the 4.4-litre twinturbo V8 found in the M550i that makes 600bhp and 800Nm of torque, and it comes with four-wheel drive as standard.
That means 0-62mph in 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 205mph. There won’t be a BMW M5 Touring, so the B5 Touring will be the closest estate buyers can get.
