Auto Express - - Road Tests -

Our guide to which trim level might suit you THE F-pace is available in Prestige, R-sport, Portfolio and S trim levels, with the latter only offered with either the V6 diesel or petrol engine. However, the 2.0d version tested here delivers the best performance and efficiency, while we’d opt for the slick auto and AWD unless you’re looking to cut your emissions.

Use the brand’s Privilege PCP finance scheme, and with a £4,500 deposit on a three-year deal with a 10,000-mile annual limit, you’ll pay £562 per month for a Prestige.

Stepping up to the R-sport tested here brings desirable additions such as larger alloys, xenon headlamps and racy styling for another £42 a month. If you go for a flagship Portfolio, you’ll need £649 per month. Although this buys keyless entry, a Meridian sound system and panoramic roof, we think the R-sport is better value. Our choice: R-sport 2.0d AWD
