RELIABILITY concerns are partly what places Land Rover 24th in our survey. Nearly a quarter of owners told us they had problems with their new models, while scores for reliability were the lowest out of all 27 brands.
Another reason why Land Rover finishes near the bottom is the poor ratings it received for infotainment, connectivity and electrics. Owners say that their cars often come with good smartphone connectivity and air-con, but the sat-nav and touchscreen leave the brand trailing behind its rivals.
Owners rate Land Rover 10th in the interior quality category thanks to its cars’ comfortable, stylish cabins and their good road visibility. Interestingly, practicality isn’t rated too highly, with a closer look revealing that while Land Rover does well in seating flexibility, child-friendly features and interior storage, boot space could be better.
However, drivers find the firm’s engines refined and quick off the mark, while they’re also happy with the way their cars handle.
