Our guide to which trim level might suit you

Auto Express - - Road tests - Our choice: Countryman S E ALL4

THE Countryman S E only comes in one trim level, making it the most compact range here.

With a £3,000 deposit on MINI’S threeyear Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) finance deal the S E ALL4 will cost you £457 per month. It’s well equipped as standard as the kit spec is based on the Countryman Cooper S, but as usual, most owners are expected to go for MINI’S Chili Pack. It adds 18-inch wheels, LED headlights, heated part-leather seats, climate control and keyless entry plus much more, which makes the £2,750 outlay seem respectable value.

As always with MINI, there are lots of extras and options packs that lump together the most popular upgrades for better value, and buying on finance should make these more affordable. Adding the Chili pack makes the S E ALL4’S figure rise to £530 a month.
