THROUGH THE RANGE
THE Golf GTE stands as a trim level in its own right, with the standard and Advance models offering different levels of kit within this.
Starting with the regular GTE, a £3,000 deposit on a three-year PCP deal limited to 10,000 miles will cost you £333 per month, helped by a £1,500 manufacturer’s deposit contribution across the range.
Given you get lots of standard kit, including VW’S updated infotainment for 2017 and the digital dial pack, it’s fairly good value.
However, if you want satellite navigation you’ll have to upgrade to the GTE Advance model, which costs £447 per month.
This is a fairly steep step up, and given the GTE gets Apple Carplay and Android Auto capability as standard, which adds sat-nav through your smartphone, we’d recommend sticking with the standard GTE because it will save you £4,104 during a 36-month PCP finance contract. Our choice: Golf GTE
