THANKFULLY, the cheap-looking dust cover is the only real low point of this book. A sequel to Hughes’ earlier 1970 work, this continues its journey into what were, for many readers, their formative years of F1. Bound to bring back fond memories, it covers all the important moments of the season in detail, with useful statistics at the back. The brilliant period photos are the icing on the cake. A must for anyone who remembers the season.
