NAVMII’S app is said to come with ‘artificial intelligence’ covering a forward collision alert and speed sign recognition. The latter worked most of the time, but the former kept going off for no reason, making it irritating. AI has a decent interface and options; trouble was, we couldn’t swap the recording into portrait mode easily and the GPS wasn’t as accurate as on our top performers.
