THROUGH THE RANGE
Which trim level suits you?
THERE are two versions of the Civic Type R, standard and GT, but both models have the same performance potential; the only difference is that the GT gets a bit more equipment.
The standard Type R has a few obvious omissions from its kit list, but all of the safety technology apart from blindspot warning and cross-traffic alert is included.
With a £3,500 deposit, and based on a three-year PCP deal limited to 10,000 miles annually, the standard Civic Type R will cost you £455 per month.
Go for the GT variant on the same contract terms and you’ll pay £491 each month; both deals represent a saving over the Volkswagen Golf R.
That extra safety equipment is included as standard on the GT, and there’s front and rear parking sensors, dual-zone climate control, wireless phone charging and satnav included in the list price, too.
