FORD is in the middle of a new-product boom – not just replacing cars such as the Focus, but also readying all-new models as part of its electrification push. So its vicepresident of design, Moray Callum, is busier than ever, as he manages a team that has nearly doubled in size over the past five years. In the second half of 2017 he reworked his team, bringing Joel Piaskowski from Europe to Michigan as global director of design for cars and crossovers as he tries to cut the time it takes Ford to conceive and create new models.
