DERBY-BORN Stuart Rowley is now one of the most senior Brits at Ford; a promotion in March moved him from a strategic role to COO of Ford North America. Rowley is now tasked with developing new business models and coordinating investment in new tech. That’s likely to mean potential car and ride-sharing partnerships, plus seeing how petrol-focused US buyers switch to EVS. Rowley joined Ford UK in 1990 as a financial analyst; he’s had roles in Australia and the Philippines, plus a stint as Volvo chief financial officer.
