Brake shoes

Autocar - - YOUR VIEWS -

In your test of the Lamborghini Huracán Performante (Road Test, 11 October), you show the pedal/wheel alignment and state that the pedals “are where they ought to be”. This may be true for the vast majority of your readers, albeit not this one.

For more than half my life, I have been braking with my left foot in automatic-equipped cars. I find that this gives me much better control of the car and delivers quicker response timing in emergencies.

As far as I can see, the Huracán set-up is far from left-foot-brakingfriendly. More makers should provide a brake pedal in their automatics that suits the use of either foot on a regular basis. Karl Ludvigsen Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
