Don’t for­get other cham­pi­ons

We’ve just seen a wor­thy F1 cham­pion crowned, but two other world cham­pi­ons were also crowned on the same week­end. Se­bastien Ogier took his fifth world ti­tle, in a sport where luck plays a big­ger role than in many other forms of mo­tor­sport and driv­ers’ per­for­mance mar­gins need to be cor­re­spond­ingly larger. M-sport, a pri­vately owned team, took the man­u­fac­tur­ers’ ti­tle, beat­ing three works teams, one with “an al­legedly lim­it­less bud­get” (your words, p10!).

But nei­ther of these is men­tioned on your cover, and I have to go 10 pages into your mag­a­zine to find first men­tion of Ogier’s achieve­ment, which is at least on a par with Hamil­ton’s and your first men­tion of Mal­colm Wil­son’s amaz­ing feat.
