Age 12 development will play a trophy free festival while 13s, 14s, 15s and 17s will play 11- s- side for Scotland Cups and Scotland Trophies.

Teams from Scotland, England, Northern Ireland and Eire will fight for the silverware and Duncan vows: “We are in a tremendous weekend of football and I’m convinced the 40th tournament will be a really good one. The crowds will be in for a treat.”

A host of household names such as Alan Shearer, Stevie Nicol and Paul Gascoigne cut their teeth at Rozelle.

But many, more pro stars can trace their beginnings to the Ayr tournament with Geordie raiders Cramlington to the fore, supplying such as Anton Sinton, Gordon Fenton and Jack Colback.
