Call liar must behave
A pest who admitted making repeated nuisance calls to emergency services has been ordered to be of good behaviour.
Allan Brown, 26, admitted two charges of making nuisance calls, one charge of wasting police time with a bogus assault claim and another charge of behaving in a threatening manner when he appeared at Ayr Sheriff Court last week.
Brown, of New Road in Ayr, told workers at police and ambulance control centres that he planned to commit suicide and was suffering chest pains – despite knowing both to be false.
He also admitted uttering threats of violence towards Jordan Brown, a Healthcare Assistant at Ayr Clinic, and brandishing a curtain rail.
Sheriff Mhairi Mactaggart deferred sentence for Brown to be of good behaviour for the next six months.
