South Ayrshire Council’s portfolio holder for lifelong learning, William Grant, said that the new facility hopes that there will be a high turnout on Saturday.

He said: “As well as transforming education for generations of young people the school has also been designed to become a community hub. It’s much more than a school. It will be a great venue for sporting activites and community meetings”

Visitors should report to the reception area between 10am and 1pm.

Staff will be available to answer questions and explain how the new facility will be used. Tours will then take place around the new campus.
