Ayrshire Post - - MEMORY LANE -

Former Kyle and Carrick Councillor Struan Stevenson, who failed in a determined bid to capture the Edinburgh South seat at the General Election, is to sell his South Ayrshire farm at Corseclays and lease his other farm at Balig.

Mr Stevenson, 44, will however retain his home and holiday cottage business at Balig.

He is now working as European Director of Campaigns and Communications for the Safer World Foundation based in Bristol.

Mr Stevenson said: “Losing left me looking to the future and wondering what to do.”
