Rotarians enjoy a district night out
Prestwick Rotarians enjoyed a night on the tiles when they headed for the annual Rotary District Dinner.
Clydebank’s Golden Jubilee Hotel was this year’s host venue with guests from over 50 Rotary clubs throughout the West of Scotland, from Oban to Stranraer.
The evening was a great success, with after dinner speaker Iain Gordon sharing extremely funny anecdotes from his turbulent career in the police.
An Abba Tribute band, complete with synthetic wigs and shiny jump suits ensured the dancefloor was well occupied.
The photo shows Edith Sterrick, Liz Kelly, Mike Kelly and Richie Cameron enjoying the evening.
Prestwick Rotary Club is always seeking to boost club membership and is keen to bring in new blood and would benefit from the freshness and initiatives which new members, both men and women, can bring.
The club is hosting a buffet evening at The Parkstone Hotel to welcome potential new members tomorrow ( Thursday) starting at 6.30pm.
There will be an illustrated talk on the benefits of being a Rotarian in Prestwick, including the fun and new friends you can make.
If you want to come along, just turn up on the evening, or contact President Richie Cameron on richiecameron2@ sky. com.
