Arran’s outdoors for Rotary

Nigel Marshall shared his love of Arran with Troon Rotary members, with an enthusiastic reflection on the years which he has spent exploring the island. Through the Outdoor Education Centre youngsters of all ages and abilities can participate in rock climbing and kayaking in all weathers, admiring red squirrels, golden eagles, seals and even orcas. Expeditions to admire the flora and fauna of this unique island give young people and occasionally corporate groups the chance to see dinosaur footprints, but above all to experience the thrill of admiring the vistas from Goatfell.
