Christmas toys bid launch

Staff at Girvan Youth Trust’s charity shop are looking for donations towards their Christmas teddy appeal.

The shop, which first opened in 2015, is launching a ‘ Walt Disnae’ themed week and members of the surrounding community have been encouraged to donate any old Disney- themed toy to the store.

The theme is to help parents in deprived areas of the community, who struggle to afford gifts for their children.

Project Manager Bill Logan said: “We are putting out an appeal for any official good quality Disney soft toy, doll or DVD that you may have lying in the back of a cupboard

somewhere to be donated to our cause.”
