Man doctored his prescription
A 46- year- old man was caught out trying to alter his prescription.
Stewart Wilson of Annpit Road in Ayr approached the pharmacy at Morrisons supermarket in Ayr on June 13, 2017 and attempted to obtain a quantity of medication.
The pharmacist became concerned as the prescription appeared to have been adjusted.
Ayr Sheriff Court heard on Tuesday, March 6 that the script had different types of ink on it and the frequency section was altered using a marker pen.
Mr Pringle said: “He realises the foolishness of this.
“He was drinking heavily and made poor choices that day.”
Sheriff John Montgomery questioned :“Why did he do it?”
The court deferred sentence for reports and the accused to be of good behaviour.
