Charges following alleged break- in
Two people have appeared in court after men allegedly ransacked an Ayr home and used a woman’s car as a getaway.
Patrick McHugh, 41, of Glasgow, faced two charges of hamesucken and robbery ( force entry) and theft.
Hamesucken is pursuing someone into their home and assaulting them.

Both made no plea or declaration when they appeared on petition at Ayr Sheriff Court last Wednesday.
They were remanded in custody pending further police enquiries.
Both are expected to appear in court for a second time next week.
Police began their investigation after an alleged robbery in Thornyflat Place, Dalmilling on Tuesday, January 23.
Men allegedly forced their way into the home and threatened a 21- year- old woman with the weapons and violence before taking car keys to a red VW Golf and ransacking the house.
A police spokesman said: “Two men, aged 40 and 41, have been arrested and charged in connection an incident in Thornyroad Place. Ayr.
