Grants up for grabs again

Peo­ple in Gir­van and South Car­rick are be­ing en­cour­aged to sup­port com­mu­nity groups by vot­ing for their favourites.

The lat­est de­ci­sion day takes place on Satur­day, March 17 at Col­monell Pri­mary School be­tween 10.30am and 12pm.

Up to £ 40,000 is avail­able at the event, with grants avail­able up to £ 5000.

Vot­ing is open to any­one who lives, works, vol­un­teers or stud­ies in Gir­van, Dailly, Barr, Col­monell, Len­dal­foot, Bal­lantrae, Bar­rhill and Pin­more and is aged 10 or over. The money is be­ing made avail­able from South Ayr­shire Coun­cil, South Ayr­shire Health, So­cial Care Part­ner­ship and Com­mu­nity Choices.
